Biography

She graduates in Cultural Heritage Studies with a specialisation in History and Forms of the Visual Arts, Performing Arts and New Media at the Università di Pisa and Parma. She takes the Diploma in Advanced Photography at IED in Milano. Between 2015 and 2017 she attends the advanced master’s course on the contemporary image at Fondazione Fotografia Modena, where she begins her research in the field of contemporary art, in an experimental and authorial direction. In 2020 she is selected for a year-long experimental course promoted and run by GAER (Giovani Artisti Emilia Romagna). In 2021 she is selected among the young creatives of Emilia Romagna for the exhibition Abecedario d’artista at the Palazzo del Governatore in Parma. Her work explores the border between the visible and the invisible, between the real and the transfigured, leading the viewer towards other dimensions and hidden meanings, layered in the complexity of the everyday. She has been selected among the finalists of the Premio Francesco Fabbri, the Premio Combat and We Art Open. Her most recent exhibitions include the solo show Things are not as they appear, curated by Luca Panaro.
